After a terribly delayed flight into Vegas, arriving at 1AM, we hit what I called the best coffee shop. CAFE ROMA at Caesars. Prices were good, food was excellent - I suggest the club sandwich, more food than we could finish. Price was good also & service was above average in a very above average atmosphere.

Best Casino Coffee Shops

Yes, it's also one of the most expensive non-hotel coffee shops I've ever seen. Yes, the portions are massive (just try to finish their fruit salad). But it is quiet. The service tremendous. The waitresses invariably efficient and upbeat, and most of the food is terrific. Coffee is great, too. And the big booths are comfortable. Open 24 hours and breakfast served all day (try the Ortega omelet or pancakes if you feel like breakfast). Dave Feldman

I'll start: I have to be biased here, but my favorite now and for most of my years in Las Vegas has been the Horseshoe Hotel & Casino , Downtown Las vegas. The serve a "Bennys Natural" Breakfast for only $ 2.50, served 24 hours a day. It is well worth the money if for no other reason that the enormous ham steak they serve. Also served is a $ 2.00 New York Strip Dinner, served on the graveyard shift. This is a full new york strip, served the way you want it with a baked potatoe and salad. yes the lines are sometimes long, but it is well worth it ..... Article 213 of alt.vacation.las-vegas:

I used to live in Vegas...and most likely plan to move back...and i was there about 3 months ago. IMHO the Gold Coast coffee shop is one of the best in Vegas. The food is great...service is excellent..and the prices r very affordable....

Do not go there if you're in a hurry. HOWEVER, I agree with Carla that their food is excellent. One of my absolute favorite things to get anywhere in Las Vegas is their Tortilla Skillet--more food than I can eat (and I can't say that about too many meals anywhere) and consistently delicious. Joe Bob says check it out, especially if you've blown most of your money and want to kill a little time eating a great, inexpensive meal. KBEIII
