TomCat,

Sidney Street is very good. Just as good and a little less pricey is Fraser's Brown Bag. It is excellent. It used to be better when nobody knew about it. Now, reservations are recommended. My third favorite (but not nearly as good as 1 and 2) is Soulard's Restaurante.

If you are looking for a burger and beer, there are a number of possibilities but for a meal these three are the only choices. Maybe I am missing a choice and someone will reply and enlighten us.

On my "Bad List" is Nortons and the Hardshell place", yuk! I have given them numerous tries to come to this conclusion.

Just my opinion,

Dave H.

hermant,
I also had lunch at Norton's this summer. The outside eating was pleasant. The food and service was not bad. The only complaint that I have, concerning that visit was the long wait for a table and I understand that they have little control over that. This was however, contrary to two previous experiences with dinner. On both occasions the food and service was less than acceptable. Most notable was the poor food quality. Just my humble opinion, Dave H.

I've always liked Tuckers. They have good reasonably -priced grub (nice steaks), pleasant decor, and friendly service.	There's a wait on weekend nights....
