I have also found good sushi in the prarie land.......
In Indianapolis, where I now reside, there is a place called
Sakura that makes the best--at least in Indiana!! Can get pretty darn expensive if you are really hungry, but it is well worth it.
In Kansas City, where I grew up, there is a place called Jun's
that we went to at least once a month. He had a knack for locating his restaurant on the flood plain along Wornall Rd. between 95th and 103rd st. Now, to my understanding (haven't been back in awhile), he is on higher ground at about 77th and State Line rd. Pretty good prarie sushi, IMO. :-)
