I hope this is not too late! About five miles from the airport (south on I270 to Page Ave.) is an area called Westport Plaza. There are about 10 resraurants in this area, and several of them are very good. Ozzie Smith (baseball player) has a restaurant there that is good (sports bar atmosphere). Also, Dan Dierdorf and Jim Hart (ex football players) have a great steakhouse there (Dierdorf and Hart's). Expect to pay about $40 per person, though.
