If you will have transportation, try Stephensons Apple Orchard. It is on highway 40 east of KC. Good bbq, and lots of it. They grow their own apples behind the restaurant and make apple everything. They also have great corn relish, breads, etc. Everything is like homemade. There is a gift shop where you can buy a lot of their relishes and apple stuff as well as nick nacks and stuff.
