Busch's Grove - it has been so long since I was last there that I can barely remember details. I recall it being a good meal, but then I haven't taken the trouble to return..... Kreis' - Never been Mike Shannon's - Dinner there with a friend about 8 weeks ago. Lots of sports memorabilia and woodwork. Steaks, or we throw you out! Well, there is more to the menu than that, but it IS a steak house don't you ever forget. I had I really nice sauteed mushroom appetizer that was an off menu choice that night, and a mid-size filet (think about 10 oz) that was tender and cooked perfectly - I am a "really rare" person when I eat meat and it can be hard to please me. We also had some kind of double triple chocolate deadly suicide dessert that I remember diving into with gusto. Just remember though, its a steak house and if you are not ready to eat in a manly way with the manly me who go there, stay home, or go to Miss Aimee B's or some such frou frou type of place. O.K.?
