Went to Yia Yias for the first time last night. Very nice dining experience. Brooke, our server was happy and helpful, but not intrusive. Had calamari appetizer, greek salad (very! good), fettucine alfredo, and another pasta with incredibly good grilled shrimp. No room for dessert but they have one of the best looking dessert trays I've seen in a long time (triple creme brulee, I'll go back just to have that). Enjoyed the building too, not too traditional, but warm and welcoming.

Anyone else been there yet?

Dick

I went there for lunch a few weeks ago. They were quite crowded but service was quick and skilled. Had a pizza special (duck breast with red onion and mozzarella). Quite good and ample portions. I enjoyed the well-designed interior and would think it a good place for a business meal. I spent about twelve dollars including soft drink, tax and tip. Not to mention leftovers for the next day. The server put my leftovers in a box, wrapped it in plastic film, and even marked the contents and date on the top! Never had that done for leftovers! I was so happy with the place I brought my wife there for their Sunday brunch ($12.95) on Valentines Day.

The brunch had the usual entrees and a lot more. Omelette station, and standing rib roast were carved for you. French toast, eggs benedict, scrambled eggs, and bacon and sausage links per usual. But also had some interesting mediterranean inspired pastas, salads (including a caesar salad) chicken, fresh fruit and a knock-out dessert tray. This was the usual brunch, served every Sunday, not a Valentine special. I recommend this place and hope it sticks around. Not your usual West County place.
