In St.Louis, India Palace is excellent. It's close to the airport, off of I-70. Phone:(314)731-3333. Address: 4530 N. Lindbergh. -on the top floor of the Mark Twain Bank. I've been there several times for dinner. Friends tell me that it's quite authentic.

In addition to this, I know of two others, although I've only eaten at one of them recently:

Star of India, 4569 Laclede (in the Central West End of the city of St. Louis, near the Washington University Medical Center complex, 314-361-6911.

House of India, Delmar at Interstate 170 in University City.  Don't have phone number handy.  I've eaten here several times in the past few months, never been disappointed.
