Gravois just north of Lindbergh. Quasi-western bar & grill, one of those places with old stuff all over the walls. Maybe a franchise. Nice touch is homemade (?) corn chips to munch while pondering the short menu but the salsa was flavorless, even when enhanced with salt and hot sauce. Wife tried dunking them in the ranch dressing that came with her salad; better. Baked potato soup was good and dense, reminded me of my mother's scalloped potato casserole.

First time anyone ever asked me how I wanted a pork chop done. Done! for heaven's sake. Service cratered due to large party just ahead of us. Could happen in any small place, I suppose. They tried to make up for it by keeping glasses full etc but main course was a long time coming.

All was forgiven when the 16 oz pork chop (12 bux) arrived. Double rib cut, cooked just right, very tasty, had a trace of sweetish sauce on it. Wife's filet m was good. Baked potato was monstrous.

Give it a 6 out of 10.
