My husband and I have lived in Branson for several years and enjoy going out. For restaurants, we enjoy Top of the Rock which is a few miles south of Branson on U.S. 65. Another good place, Mesquite Charlies. For shows, we enjoy seeing Jim Stafford -- he is always funny. If you are an RV persons, there is a nice RV park on 76 Country Blvd. -- Musicland USA (formerly a KOA). Nightlife is really picking up in Branson. There's a fun show at the Lodge of the Ozarks in their lounge, and I just heard that a new group led by Norm Bergen (formerly Tony Orlando's music director and also a well known musical arranger) will be opening at the Melinda Magical Show(new this spring), and will also be opening a new restaurant near the Magic Theatre in May. Norm is very talented -- his new group is called the Bowery Boys. Hope this helps. Susan
