A group of us celebrated my wifes birthday Saturday night by going to Bernards for dinner. We had a very special (albeit not cheap) meal. The appetizers were amongst the best that I have ever had (a smoked seafood special, duck patties, a mushroom pastry). The main dishes included tenerloin with a simple wine demi-glaze and a pinenut encrusted grouper. The basil garlic mashed potatoes were terrific. The cost was about $35 per person without tip. It was a suprise and I worked in advance with some of the staff. They were all very nice and helpful. I would recommend trying it for a special meal. Ben S.
