If you want seafood (and you better want seafood), try McElroy's Harbor House. All of the restaurants associated with the casino's are good, but the best is Fisherman's Wharf, associated with Lady Luck. Vrazel's in Gulfport is good but expensive. Mary Mahoney's in Biloxi is cheap with lots of Irish New Orleans color, but pretty good. There are lots of casinos if you like that kind of thing. Personally, I like Ocean Springs. It's a refreshing change from the rest of the coast. THere's a museum dedicated to a local artist, Walter Anderson, and lots of small town "main street" type shops on Washington Ave. There's also Gulf Islands National Seashore Park in Ocean Springs (I'm from Ocean Springs, in case you can't tell...). If you like golf, there are lots of good golf courses. If you want more info, e-mail me at [email removed]. There's also an information center in Biloxi that you can contact. Sorry I don't know the address. Hope this helps. Jimmy Newland MS State Physics and Astronomy [email removed]
