one of my favorite "hole in the wall"'s in detroit is a place called "greens hamburgers". its location evades my memory, but it is somewhere downtown and has the best hamburgers known to the western world. the secret is the grilled onions (yummo!) and wrapping them in wax paper and putting them in the oven. or something like that. but if you have no need to watch cholesterol or anything silly like that, i must reccomend. also across the river there is a number of good chinese restaurants across the river in windsor. dim sum at Wah Court makes my mouth water. also check out trapper's alley in detroit. its basically a "greek town". i don't remember any specific restaurants but it was all good. :) jonathan
