Well, the knock your socks off experience had to be Las Cazuelas. http://www.hypermex.com/htmlads/caz.htm For you "Like Water For Chocolate" fans, I got to have rose petal sauce, and let me tell you it was *incredible*. It was served over chicken on a bed of rice that was flavored with something I couldn't identify- it was yellow in appearance and blended oh so beautifully with the sauce, didn't really taste like saffron, so I was stumped. The chicken had been grilled with some herbs, nothing strong tho. It was served with a simple salad with a vinigrette that had rosemary in it. Lovely. The people who run this place are delightful - and very passionate about their food. You won't be disappointed. We ate at this place twice while there ;-) Other highlights: Chico's Paradise - had a fab lunch there, all mexican, enchilada, chili relleno, etc. Great food. Le Bistro - "continental" kinda french, kinda mexican, kinda spanish, a little of everything. This place won for ambiance. Gorgeous. Kind of place you want to hang out at for hours. Very romantic. margaret
