My wife and I ate at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. It was the BEST meal I had ever. The food, wine amd service were ALL excellent. Unless you want a TGI-Friday's type of food and atmosphere avoid Carlos-n-Charlies and Senor Frog's they are the SAME restaurant. Bogart's is good. The Pescadora or something like that in Downtown Cancun (not the hotel zone) was excellent for seafood. I hope this helps.
