I would recommend, depending on your tastes, one of these:

 1) Siam Garden on Mt. Auburn Street at the back end of the square
for pricey Thai in a quiet, lovely atmosphere,

 2) Pho Pastuer in the Garage on Dunster Street for Vietnamese in
 a lovely setting,

 3) Bombay Club on JFK Street upstairs in the Galleria for an elegant
 Indian dinner,

 4) Fire and Ice on Church Street in the Artium for choose your own
sauce and ingredients vaguely Asian type food

 5) Ta Chen on Eliot Street upstairs from TGIFriday's across from the
 Gov School for reasonable Chinese

I was last at Fire and Ice about a year ago, and liked the food, but the
grill chefs weren't as veggie-careful as they should've been. One had
everyone from the veggie section of the grill slide over to the omnivore
section, another would fit veggie people in spaces in the omnivore
section, they all ended up using the same utensils for both veggie and
omni, my own veggie stuff once ended up getting grilled up against a
pile of almost entirely raw beef, and more than once i had to pick
noticeably non-veggie pieces out of my dish.

I would not recommend this place for strict vegetarians, but would
 recommend it to everyone else.

Oh, if you're going in a large group, we found that the table was always
about half-full, since most people would go for seconds (and thirds) and
each trip to the grill would be lengthy.
