Cafe Luna in Brookline had them on the menu when I was there a long time ago, I ordered them, but they were out. :-( Nothing much appealed, so I ordered a pizza, and was prepared to be unhappy. Well, their pizza was soooo good, it turned around the experience for me. Chuck Demas Needham, Mass.

Had a soft-shell crab appetizer--billed on the menu as a salad--at Cambridge's Blue Room (Kendall Square) last Friday night. Essentially it was one crab with a corn-meal crust on a bed of arugula with a nicely seasoned lemon-based dressing on the side. A bit steep at $12, but delicious nonetheless.
