Same horrific prices for fresh fish with really bland side dishes (Far East pilaf). There are far better places for the money in Essex and Newburyport and your very own Portsmouth. Better yet, save the money, grab some fish from David's Seafood in Salisbury and light up the grill. And the Far East pilaf is always on sale at Market Basket. :-)

Has anyone eaten at Legal Seafood.....

I traced your posting right to your house. :-) I actually meant "you're own" by virtue of it being in New Hampshire.

If you do decide to go to North Shore Mall in Peabody, the Legal Seafood there is a good representative of the chain. We eat there about once a month as it has dependably good food and service and is near our house. Legal restaurants do vary, however. We had lunch at the Legal in the Burlington Mall not long ago -- the salad lettuce was wilted and brown and the fish was overcooked. That has never happened at the Peabody Legal, where, by the way, they serve a delightful martini.
