Top of the Hub came under new management a few years ago and was completely redecorated and a new menu introduced. My family celebrated my Mother's 75th birthday there in June, 1996, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. My wife and I were less pleased with the food, and especially with the service, during a December, 1996 visit. From the comments made recently, it sounds like it's continued to slide downhill. Too bad, because the re-do really seemed to get off on the right foot. The word at the time was that it actually was a restaurant that violated the "quality inversely proportional to height" rule. But no more, it seems. The Spinnaker at the Hyatt began life strictly as a cocktail lounge, for which it was great. I kinda thought it strange when they turned it into a restaurant. But then, the Hyatt hasn't had all that much luck with its restaurants, especially since Sally Ling's closed. Ken Pogran
