I haven't been there yet but plan to try Cena, on Westland Ave. soon.

My parents and I have been subscribers at the Huntington for several years
now, so we eat in that neighborhood regularly. There's a parking garage
on (Westland?), right next to the Bread & Circus.

Dixie Kitchen is a favorite - moderately priced yummy Cajun on Mass. Ave.,
about a block riverwards past the Christian Science Church. Last time
out, we tried A Taste of Asia, just around the corner from Symphony Hall
on Huntington Ave. Seems to be Chinese/Vietnamese with a bit of Thai
thrown in for good measure - we had a couple of hot-pot dishes (casseroles
cooked on rice) that were really delicious - I think we're planning
further exploration there next time out. There's a good Indian place on
Mass. Ave, also good Thai a few doors down. There's an interesting-
looking place that's recently opened up in the place of the now-defunct
 everyone's-favorite-Thai-in-that-neighborhood across from the parking
garage - I'm pretty sure that's Westland Ave. We haven't checked it out
yet - it appears to be mostly vegetarian and pretty eclectic. It looks
a little pricey, though, at least compared to the other places I've
 mentioned.
