A couple of weeks ago I posted a rave review of the new Pho Pasteur in Harvard Square. I stopped by again on Monday and ordered the same dish (Curry Tofu with vegetables). No flames for prderomg the same thing, please - I get tofu cravings - must be a hormonal thing. Well, this time the service was still fine. But I was not in food heaven. The dish was quite good - and still probably better than most food in the Square, but it was only good, not wonderful. The veggies were a bit overcooked, and the sauce did not share much in common with my first visit. I hope this is just a sign of a bit of unevenness. I fear that they may have brought in a better Chef just to start up the initial weeks, and that the permament chef is not nearly as good. I hope this isn't the case. Still worth going to if you are in the Square, though. Christine
