For anybody who wants to wander off the beaten path in
southern New England, I'd strongly recommend Antonio's in New Bedford. It's a family-owned excellent Portuguese restaurant with very reasonable prices and huge quantities of food. It's a bit tricky to find if you don't know the city well, so I'd suggest you call and ask for directions before going.
