I've started to grow rather fond of having lunch at this little deli/bakery in Arlington. I'm addicted to their eggplant parmesan on focaccia. Anybody else eat there? Any recommendations on what else to try? Their decor is more like an insurance office than a restaurant (they should take some lessons in how to create ambience on the cheap from Ole!) but the bang for the buck can't be matched. I'm tired of restaurants I like closing down, so make sure you visit them and tell everyone you know about it if you like it. :-) Anybody tried the Italian restaurant-du-jour over next to Urban Pain? It looked about as empty as always, the last time I checked.. -Roger Roger Gonzalez Datapult Communications [email removed] http://datapult.com/rg If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough brute force.

Tried it, did not like it, will never go back again. Food was so-so (I think I had chicken parmesan?) Decor is awful. $2 for a mineral water you take from a cooler on the counter? Gimme a break. Go to the fish place (Village Fish?) nearby and have a pasta if you so desire. Mike.S PS. Decor at Ole'? We don't need no stinking decor! Sorry I could not resist. www.gis.net/~mikest

Decor stinks, they need a wine list, but the food is very well-executed (I recommend sticking to the specials in this regard). And has _anyone_ dined in the new restaurant across the street? Anyone? I _do_ feel bad for them, which might make me go (before they close). Where's their advertising campaign? Thor
