Indian in the suburbs!

An English friend of mine likes Rasoi in Framingham. I think it's a
little bland. There's an Indian grocery in downtown Framingham if you
like to make your own (I do).

For eating out, I prefer the Indian places on Moody St. Waltham.

I don't know Indian food that well but I do like the Gold Star lunch
buffet in Framingham next to Tennessee's Barbeque joint.

But I do have a feeling it wouldn't be a favorite for anyone more
 familiar with such cuisine.

You could always split the difference and hit Moody Street in Waltham.
There are a handful of quite decent Indian restaurants, and even a very
nice Thai. OK, that's not helpful, but I'm system administration - it's
not my job to be helpful.

(New Mother India and Jewel of India are decent, and Erawan of Siam is the
Thai place. Carambola just up the street serves Cambodian, and is a really
 nice, though inexpensive, experience.)
