I'm posting this as a warning so that others will not suffer the same fate. On 12/24, I found myself back in my old neighborhood (Belmont) and decided that I would get Chinese food from the Ultimate Szechuan Restaurant on Trapelo Road (near the cinema). Alas, it has been replaced by Lai's Cafe. I tried it anyway. I have never had worse Chinese food. The 'chicken' in my Crispy Sesame Chicken was the lowest quality meat-like-substance that I have ever had the displeasure of chewing (briefly). I felt guilty feeding it to my garbage disposal. I will miss Ultimate Szechuan, it held its own (IMHO) against Mary Chung's, Changsho, Cafe China and most of Chinatown.
