Well, at least Tosci's is inching westward. Sometime by the 22nd century
we may yet get decent ice cream out here in Silicon Valley (the San Jose
Murky Snooze Sunday magazine recently polled readers on where to find
the best ice cream. I was sorely tempted to send in "Go to the San Jose
airport. Take American flight 128 (yes, that's the number. They claim
it's a coincidence) to Boston. Take the shuttle to the T station. Take
the Blue line to Government Center. Transfer to the Green line to Park
Street. Transfer to the Red line to Central Square. Walk towards MIT,
hang a left on Main, and enter Toscanini's.")
