I haven't been to the Addis Red Sea for a few years (moved out of the
area), but if it is still around, it is definitely worth a try.
This is an Ethiopean restaurant with lots of atmosphere, excellent food
(particularly if you like things spicy), and a very attentive waitstaff.
Of course, as I said, I haven't been out there in years, so YMMV.

I've never been to St. Botolph's, but there are a few really good Thai
places nearby, in particular Bangkok City and the new Thai Kitchen,
 both on Mass Ave.

Also, Jae's isn't really that far away (Columbus X West Newton?).
