For North Shore Fine dining near Peabody I recommend: Tom Shea's in Essex for seafood/atmosphere; Winter Street Cafe in Newburyport for an elegant Sunday Brunch or dinner; The Andover Inn, on the Phillips Academy campus for fine dining or an exceptional Sunday brunch. All three places are special occasion types of restaurants.

I'll second Tom Shea's in Essex. There's nothing like a lunch or early dinner right in a window seat there.

The White Rainbow in Gloucester is an annual favorite. The lobster burrito is to die for.
