I did the Spring ritual with my bro last week, lunch at the BC. We met at South Station & navigated the BigD (pulling up by boat must be easier) and to our surprise were seated right away. Five minutes later (~12:05pm) there was a line. We had the Jonah Crab app which is made easier to eat being pre-cracked, I thought it was saw cut my brother reckoned it was cleaved. The plastic cracking tools they give you are useless. Which reminds me I love those wooden mallets they give you in Maryland! We also had the Lobsta rolls, fries and slaw o.t.s., the ice tea was ok. Most diners at our table went for the chowda and clam roll, which did look good and certainly was less expensive. Eating outside when the weather is good is always a treat but the service was lame. Even so the BC is an institution and I'll be back at least twice before Labor Day. -sjm p.s.. where is everybody?
