I happen to think that Gennaro's ..in the Little Italy section is absolutely wonderful, the food was fantastic and pricing reasonable......

When I was @ Johns Hopkins (aoeons ago it seems-- no, wait--it was..) Sabatino's was pretty good.

Vaccaro's pastry is also decent.
