For "seafood" in general, forget it; while there are a few very good restaurants in Baltimore (Citronelle, Polo Grill, Linwoods), none of them "specialize" in seafood and those that do aren't the best in town. You probably know that the specialty in town is steamed crabs, and the locals go to Bo Brooks (out BelAir Road), it gets raves even from local kids in Fells Point bars whose friends work there and tell of the quality. Two choices (personal favorites); Paolo's in the Inner Harbor (hip setting, great food and service) and Pierpoint in Fells Point ( a small very personal chef-owned restaurant that has some very imaginative food, with caring and knowledgeable waiters). P.S. while you're in town, there are 4 or 5 excellent brewpubs, you can see the kettles while you try the different brews. Have a great time in Charm City, man!

Hello! Well, if taking advice from the areas means anything to you....

You want to make sure you visit Bertha's on Fells Point in the Inner Harbor. Very well known, very inexepenseive ($10-$15/person w/ drinks). Relaxed atmosphere (no dress code). Just be weary about weekend visits... a little busy.. you may wait a few minutes.
Mussels are their premeir item (which are justly so) and I highly
recommend their crab cakes! One of the best I have ever tried! They also offer a nice smapling of local and micro brews. Rather a nice compliment to their menu.

Enjoy! Let me know what you think...
