Not looking to find touristy type stuff, more local >flavor... > >THX >Mike if you are interested in blue crabs (a bay specialty) and local flavor, then mike's crab house is for you. it is about 10 minutes from downtown annapolis and it on the bay (it even had docks if you want to sail up for a meal). i have eaten there whenever i was in the area (about once a year) since i was a baby, and on weekends the atmosphere has always been great. just order a couple of dozen steamed crabs and you will be completely satiated. for a good desert place, i recently (six months ago) ate at a fairly new place right downtown. just up the street from the harbor, they serve european (french i think - don't quite remember) cuisean. i have only eaten desert there, but i was impressed by the presentation for the price. hope this helps. adam
