Try Gunning's Crab House in the Brooklyn section. You get crabs by the dozen freshly steamed with alot of spice served on brown paper with a mallot. It's great! Joe D. .

Also in the neighborhood (across the street, in fact) are Ikaros (many of of us locals think Ikaros is a bit better than Acropolis) and the Aegean. The Aegean isn't really a Greek restaurant though (at least not in the normal Baltimore sense), it's more eclectic. Great food, though.

Morning Edition is definitely different! Service is sometimes slow.

>Prime Rib, Horizon House, 1101 N. Calvert, the Best, expensive

Ah yes, one of the few places that still unashamedly serves beef! :-)

>Phillips, Harbor Place, seafood

Phillips really isn't very good. I'd recommend staying clear of it.

Sabatino's is pretty good, but so are most of the restaurants in Little Italy. You can just about wander the streets and pick one at random and do pretty well.

Just so you know what to expect, Sip & Bite is pretty much just a diner-type place. Good breakfast choice, though. Get the ham and eggs. They actually cook a whole ham and cut it up rather than using the awful formed and sliced stuff that most places use.

Another good diner-type place is Jimmy's on the square in Fells Point.

Yes, avoid Phillips ;(, wander the streets in Little Italy, definately go to the resaurant at the Public Art Museum and if you get to Harve' de Grace, try Mcgregors (but watch-out for the giant aborigonies.
