I was married in Kennebunk and had the reception in Kennebunkport at Window in the Water. It was wonderful. We had 65 people including the photographers. That was 12 years ago. I bet the Bush's would have an idea about what is good, too. Good luck and happy fishin'! Nika (who now lives in NC and is always lookin' North!)

Here are some quick opinions on some of the K. restaurants after a week's vacation there.

Ther two best I found:

Sea Marsh Inn just outside Kennebunkport. Nice setting, pleasant ambiance and great
food. Moderately expensive

White Barn Inn also just outside K. Nice ambiance, elegant dinning, great food. And
alas, as warned by the netters VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE.

 Windows by the Water
I can forgive obsequious waiters, high traffic area seating, and even the lousy
manhattan, but you got to get the food right. And they didn't. What a waste of time and the moderately expensive meal.

The Clam Shack is, perhaps, the finest restaurant in all of Kennybunkport, though their lobster roll pales in compariosn to the Cape Porpoise Lobster Pound. Their clams, however, are outstanding.

The Clam Shack is not as high-falutin' fancy as the places you favor, but it is
the soul of Down East cuisine.
