Lafayette has lots of good places. You might try the Boiling Point which is on the highway 90 south towards New Iberia. It's a dump serving crab, shrimp etc. but it was good when I went about 4 years ago.

Pat's in Henderson is great. Any of the Don's are too. Breaux Bridge has a Crawfish Festival every other April. They block off the streets and have dancin', etc. Don't go unless you want to have fun though. TJ

Haven't been there in years, but Robin's in Henderson was excellent. In fact you could order frozen etouffee from there that was better than most places served fresh in Houston.
