Schaumburg already has quite a few good Indian restaurants: India House, India Garden, Gaylord India, New Delhi, and a few others.

However, Udupi would still be unique because it serves exclusively vegetarian South Indian food. Their branch on Devon Avenue in Chicago is a delight to visit once in a while. (I must say such South Indian restaurants, perhaps because they number so few, do not exactly offer price bargains, but an occasional visit is worth it.)
