Hello,

Thanks to everyone who posted re: Mr. Thai & other thai recommendations. I went to Mr. Thai (on Ashland just north of Grace) last weekend and really liked the food. I had the pad thai with chicken, my friend had the massaman curry. Both entrees were $5.50 for good-sized portions but not the huge size like you get at Thai Lagoon where you can get 2 other meals out of it :-)

The pad thai had thinner noodles and lots of fresh shredded purple cabbage, carrots & sprouts. Tangy, not overly sweet, and there are the proper condiments on each table to adjust the spice level. The curry dish came with wide noodles and had a much milder, subtle flavoring than other places, also very good.

Service was quick and professional. The place is clean & spacious with lots of room between tables. No alcohol is served, and the location just off Ashland doesn't give it the best ambiance, but I'm definately going back.
