After years of having to travel out of the neighborhood for Thai food, A little place called Thai Eatery has opened on Western at Palmer (maybe a block north of Palmer?) (2234 N. Western)

The owners are the same ones of one of the Thai places on Kedzie, around Lawrence or Wilson. Food is ok so far. I had a good green curry last week. I had Pad Thai today; not bad, but I like mine sweeter and peanuttier. The Pad Kee Mao was very good, but after I let the leftovers sit, I found a LOT more oil in the bottom of the carton than I would have expected.

It is a tiny place. Originally the tables were too small, but they just put in booths, which makes it much more comfortable.

Overall, not bad, but not great either. But if you want Thai quick, and you live around Western and Fullerton, it's there! Otherwise, off to Thai Lagoon with you!
