Like many here, I too was disappointed when Woodland of Madras stopped serving buffets. However, there is a new alternative on Devon now, it is even better in some ways. :-) The place is called "Three Star". It is on Rockwell, just north of Devon (near India House, Gandhi India, Flavorland, etc., across the street from the city parking lot). They serve a great South Indian lunch buffet for $5.95. However, unlike other South Indian places, they have both vegetarian and meat items, including fish curry. My favorite North Indian lunch buffet continues to be India House, especially on a Sunday. Usual all-you-can-eat buffet is $5.95 (this is available everyday). For extra $2, add all-you-can-drink as well, everything from champaign to tea and mango-lassi (Sunday only). -Anil
