Clark Restaurant Plaza Tavern.....heart of Downtown. Centro....River North Possibly Cyrano's on Wells, call and ask regarding private seating for 18. Parma on Clark....call and ask about private seating. Star of Siam....has seating downstairs for private parties at times. Magnums...call and ask regarding 18 people, for the backroom. Docs Grill/Bar...on Clark, has a backroom. Cape Cod Room, at the Drake Hotel on Michigan Ave. I'm sure there are a ton more. If you really want more suggestions, I'd suggest stopping by one of the major downtown hotels and ask the concierge...they would have many to add to this list. If I had to pick one of the above for the best all around I'd go with Como Inn, alot of bang for your buck. Although it's technically not downtown, but on Milwaukee Ave, about 1/2 mile from Downtown proper.
