A small Italian restaurant named Il Fornaio serves some wonderful risottos, I think they have three selections on their regular menu. They are located in a god-forsaken spot on Irving Park Road, a few storefronts west of Sheridan, next to Byron's Hotdogs. They have a pizza delivery joint annexed on the west as well. Despite their location, stop in and give them a try - the restaurant itself has a white tablecloth atmosphere, with attentive waitstaff.

Risotto
Risoteria Nord around 2450 North Clark (just north of Fullerton) has a selection of about 15-20 risotto's plus changing specials. Service is as wonderful as the food! Star Bar (Pops for Champagne) has constant jazz performances (Sheffield and Oakdale), also try Green Dolphin Street (Webster and Ashland) and the Green Mill at Lawrence and Broadway.
