This is the first in a series of reviews that I've been meaning to write, although this one isn't belated, as it was dinner tonight.

After seeing a couple of reviews here (Tony, Anil, Tushar), I've been meaning to go to Shan. I wasn't disappointed. I had the Chicken Biryani, which is a not-too-spicy chicken with basmati rice dish and a Naan. I passed on the salad (was mostly onions, which my stomach doesn't care for). It was quite tasty and a big portion that I didn't finish. Service was great. Cheap too, $5 for the entree and $1 for the naan.

It's cleaner and brighter than Baba's. The sink in the dining room looks like one you'd have in your bathroom rather than one from your garage :)

Tony mentioned not seeing any women there, and neither did I, but I was a bit late for dinner time (about 8 PM), so that would probably explain it. Crowd was mostly cabbies. Unfortunately, with all the cabs, there was no parking in the lot.
