I've never had a bad meal at any of the 3 Emilio's restaurants I've been to. I believe he may have 1-2 more. The three I've been to are the Meson Sabika (spelling?) in Naperville, the La Perla somewhere near Oak Brook (a bit East of there, I think, on 22nd), and one whose name and location I don't recall (sorry). I believe that in all of my many visits I've only ever had tapas, not an entree.

Another, more recent discovery (at least for me) and quite delicious, is La Tasca at 25 West Davis Street in Arlington Heights (near the train station). Again, in my trips there I've only had tapas, but they are always fabulous.

go to cafe iberico. the tapas at cafe ba-ba-re-ba were overpriced and bland, but heck, maybe i had a bad experience because i went yesterday on a weekday in the late evening. but i did have a good time at cafe iberico and found the tapas to be yummy.
