Rosebud is down on Taylor Street, aka 10th Street, which is four or five blocks south of the Ike. Drive south on Ashland. Turn east (left) on Taylor and watch for it on the north side of the street. If you see a parking place after you turn on to Taylor, grab it - Rosebud is only a couple of blocks off Ashland.

I've been there a couple of times. Its old fashion southern Italian done up in Frank Sinatra style.

I wouldn't call this "near" to the United Center, but if you are driving it's an easy distance.

On the Randolph St. strip two good new choices are Toque, 1/2 block west of Halsted and Blackbird about two blocks east of Halsted.

Ate at Toque on Friday. Hot, as in temp. Decent food though- a good salmon appetizer, and an excellent quail appetizer. They wouldn't let us vary the menu, which suggests alot of pre-prep. 2 1/2, maybe 3 stars.
