what type of pancit? "pancit-shanghai" or "pancit-luglog"(sp?)? there are a couple on montrose and clark: "fishpond" and "little quiapo" -- right across from on another; buffet lunch at both places on weekend if you're looking to get a variety of filipino food for < $6-$7 (lunch). on central, there's "barrio fiesta"; i'm not sure of the cross-street, but it's pretty far west past Western ave. quality and prices are higher here, but worth it, i believe. there's a "mom's shoppe" (bakery and restaurant) on peterson just off western. haven't tried it yet. they advertise a buffet on the weekends also. on central and devon (or thereabouts, where caldwell is), there's another restaurant whose name escapes me. haven't tried it yet, either. Pampanga's Cuisine. I haven't been there in about 13 years, but I liked it then.
