Willisville is an hour and a half drive SE from the JB Bridge. Take Routes 3, 154 and 4. Pleasant drive through cornfields and clean, prosperous small towns.

Pioneer's Cabin is a clean modern-rustic place with a nice woodsy atmosphere and very friendly people. On Saturday and Sunday, they serve family-style fried chicken ad libidum plus one other meat and a half-dozen sides for $7.89. Desserts are an extra $2; there are a couple dozen pies, cheese cakes etc. No alcohol.

Only put-off for me was some Li'l Abner dialect on the menu, which doesn't really fit the area. But the food was yummy and ample, and the atmosphere very pleasant. I had the fried chicken and a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie. Good.
