Try to get to Garardo's in Naperville for FINE Northern Italian cuisine.  Not a yuppy place.  Chef Gary is serious about excellent food and service.  He goes to Italy almost every year to learn and bring back authentic recipes. All Italian wine list is very nice. Phone for reservations on the weekends. 708-369-6100.

DO NOT EAT AT Tuscany on 22nd St. in Oak Brook.
My wife got sick there.
