My favorite restaurant in Oak Brook is J. Alexander's located between the Oak Brook Center and the Oakbrook Terrace Tower. For seafood, I like Braxton's located in the Oak Brook Center on the west side (by Field's). For a nice little Italian place, Cucina Roma on Ogden/Rt. 83 is always good. Finally, I believe there is a Morton steakhouse in the Drake on 22nd (south of the Oak Brook Center) if you're into big beef.

North of I88 there is Boca de Beppo (sp?), an Italian place. My youngest son thought it was really good, but his favorite restaurant is Fuddruckers. Dave
On 22nd there is also Sylvianno's. A bit hard to find if you don't watch, but great italian food. Its in an office complex west of Midwest Road on the south side of the street. Keep going and Magnum's ahead on the south side of the street and about 1 or 2 miles down is Bucca de Beppo on the north corner of Yorktown Mall and 22nd (although it actually turns in to Butterfield Road) If you keep going, on the south side of the street is all the chains. Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Hooters etc... Tina http://www.geocities.com/NapaValley/2201/chicago.html
Thanks for all your suggestions, however my client decided where to take us last night. We went to Cab's in Glen Ellen. No being familiar with the suburbs, I believe it's near Oakbrook, and the restaurant is great. The food was very high quality, and the wines were fabulous. It's not inexpensive, but a thoroughly enjoyable experience. thanks again.

I just figured I'd let people know, that it's on Main Street in Glen Ellyn on south of the train tracks, across from the Glen Ellyn brewery, also very good btw. Jeff
