Well another THanksgiving has come and gone......and this year thanks to the Chicago Tribune we went to Ann Sather's.

Needless to say it was a good experience and I would definitely go there again perhaps when its less crowded.

It was a Thanksgiving dinner that was brought to you and the food was really good.....it started off with a chicken vegetable soup, followed by a salad with a sweet house dressing (pretty good but not the greatest), then the main course of turkey (white and dark slices in gravy covering the stuffing), stuffing, mashed (not sweet) potatoes, and a vegetable medley of broccoli and califlower and some other veggies. Finally there was a choice of apple, applemince, or pumpkin pie.

For $12.95 this filled me up and it was a good experience.

The place was nicely decorated for Christmas, and except for the fact that one in my party (not me) was a smoker and we had to to sit in the crowded dining area, it was nice.

Like I said I think I would go again in the evening to just to experience their main menu.

This place is located on Belmont between Sheffield and Halsted.
