Lunch at Lawry's

A real value for lunch is Lawry's Steak House on Ontario (?) between Rush & Michigan. For $5.95 you can get 6 meaty beef ribs (I can't finish them all and I eat like a machine!) with pasta salad and/or cole slaw you serve yourself, a roll and home-made chips. They also have prime rib for $7.95 (sandwich) or $10.95 (platter w. mashed potatoes & creamed spinach), and a variety of sandwiches & fruit salad all under $7.00. You join the queue at the food bar with a tray and carry your food to a table. In the bar you can watch CNN while you eat. This is a heckuva deal for great food, generous portions and nice atmosphere. I give it a hearty recommendation.
